The ORA_DB02_PFOV event is used in SAP to view the overall performance status of the Oracle database supporting the SAP system.
This event could be used in the following scenarios:
Visualize overall database healthy status in a dashboard.
Alert on abnormalities with database utilization statistics.
Correlate database overview statistics with other events in the environment causing a performance slowdown.
The event will look like this in Splunk:
Log into the managed system and execute the dbacockpit transaction code. Then expand the Performance menu option on the left side of the screen, and double-click the Enqueue Stat option. The data displayed will match the data that is extracted and sent to Splunk.
