Data Description

The SMCL event is utilized to monitor the Cross-System Lock (CSL) mechanism. It provides insights into the status of tokens managed by the token manager in both local and remote logical systems.

Potential Use Cases

This event can be leveraged for various scenarios, including:

  • Monitoring status of tokens within the token manager

  • Alert on long-pending cross-system locks that have not been released

  • Identifying token locations or movements

  • Tracking lock patterns over time

Metric Configuration

To maintain the SMCL metric configuration, use the following menu option: (Administrator -> Setup Metric -> Metric Configuration)
