Overview

SAP Fieldglass is a cloud-based software platform that allows companies to manage external workforces, including contractors, temporary workers, contingent labor, and statement of work employees. The PowerConnect Cloud Fieldglass Input monitors integration activities and events between the Fieldglass platform and external systems for operational and security use cases.

Configuration

The PowerConnect Cloud Fieldglass input requires API access via OAuth to the audit trail api.

Create the Client Credentials

  • Contact your SAP Fieldglass representative to get the following details:

    • Client Id

    • Client Secret

    • API Key

    • Application Key

Adding a Fieldglass Input in PowerConnect Cloud

  • Login to the PowerConnect Cloud web UI

  • Click on the Inputs link in the menu bar

  • Click the + button to add a new Input

  • Under Platform choose Fieldglass

     

  • Under Input Type choose audit-trail

 

  • Fill out the details you collected from your Fieldglass representative. Note the System ID field value is mapped to the source field in Splunk

  • Click Save
