General PowerConnect Project Prerequisites

  • Please share the SAP System SID and the installation numbers of any systems where the PowerConnect installation will take place with the PowerConnect team.

  • Please share the name and email address of the individual responsible for signing the End User License Agreement with the PowerConnect team.

  • Please share the name and email address of the technical lead which will be responsible for the installation of the PowerConnect application (SAP component) with the PowerConnect team.

  • Review the documentation provided in the PowerConnect Java Installation Guide

  • Upload all packages documented in the PowerConect Java Installation Guide once the software packages have been provided by the PowerConnect team.

  • If using SSL on HEC port, please complete the steps outlined in the “Splunk HEC URL” section of the Configure PowerConnect Java Agent page by leveraging input from your Splunk administrator, who will be completing the steps outlined in the PowerConnect Project Prerequisites (Splunk) section above.
