KB 20 (ABAP): Skip Client Validation

Description

By default, the PowerConnect ABAP agent cannot be installed in a technical client (000, 001, 066). However, under special circumstances this validation can be skipped. The steps in this KB document outline how to perform such a change.

• Log into the managed system and execute the SM30 transaction

• Maintain the /BNWVS/CFG table

• Then remove the “X” value from the CLIENT_CHECK parameter and save.

Open

• Try the /n/bnwvs/main transaction code again.
